The Brief
A whisky bar in regional Australia averaging $300–$1,200 per night. Ipanema Media was brought in to transform it into a destination venue — building an events calendar from scratch, designing brand activations, and engineering the kind of atmosphere that turns a quiet pub into a $20K night.

What We Built
Events Calendar from Zero
Weddings, music festivals, themed dinners, and community nights designed and executed from a completely blank calendar. Every event was engineered to drive repeat visits.
Brand Activations
Secured partnerships with Jack Daniel’s, Coca-Cola, and Bundaberg Rum for co-branded activations. Each partnership brought product, budget, and foot traffic the venue had never seen.
Community Programming
Built a regular cadence of events that turned occasional visitors into weekly regulars. The venue became the social hub for the surrounding region.
Atmosphere Design
Sound, lighting, layout, and staff choreography rebuilt to create the feeling of a premium city venue in a regional setting.


The Result
From $300–$1,200 average nightly revenue to $4K–$11K on standard nights, with peak nights hitting $18K–$23K. Food covers doubled to tripled. The venue went from a quiet whisky bar to the region's must-visit destination.
